GBTS Affiliates
Gardeners by the Sea is affiliated with National Garden Clubs, Inc., Central Atlantic Region of State Garden Clubs, Inc. and Delaware Federation of Garden Clubs, Inc. These organizations provide resources and support for local garden clubs and club members, including grants to support local club projects, publications, youth contests, scholarships, and advanced educational programs for members in gardening, landscaping and floral design.
NATIONAL GARDEN CLUBS, INC. (NGC)
National Garden Clubs, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) organization that aims to promote the love of gardening, floral design, and civic and environmental responsibility. NGC helps to coordinate the interests and activities of state and local garden clubs in the U.S. and abroad by providing resources in education, grant funding, and collaboration among garden clubs nationwide and With 200,000 international members and over 6,300 local garden clubs in 50 states and the National Capitol Area club, NGC is the largest volunteer organization of its type in the world. of STATE GARDEN CLUBS, INC. (CAR-SGC)
Garden clubs come together throughout Delaware, Maryland, National Capital Area, New Jersey, New York, Ohio and Pennsylvania for opportunities to plant, protect, create, learn, and network with others who share our interests. We do this through membership in National Garden Clubs, Inc. and Central Atlantic Region of State Garden Clubs. Inc. Gardeners by the Sea members are encouraged to attend the annual CAR-SGC fall conference. "Together we will Plant America for a cleaner, greener and healthier world" is the CAR-SGC Theme for 2023-2025. LEARN MORE
DELAWARE FEDERATION of GARDEN CLUBS, INC. (DFGC)
There are more than 20 local clubs in the Delaware Federation of Garden Clubs today. Our members support the objectives of NGC and participate in state and national training, projects and networking opportunities, as well as the activities of other local garden clubs in Delaware. DFGC holds three meetings annually -- on the third Wednesday of November, April and June. Gardeners by the Sea members are encouraged to attend these meetings and take advantage of the opportunities to know our state leaders and members of other local Delaware garden clubs. "Bee Aware, Bee Involved, Bee Kind" is the 2023-2025 DFGC President's Project. LEARN MORE
